Women are central themes in the work of June August, an American artist known for her large, vibrant and clever screen prints. With an MFA from Tufts University in Boston, June has work in the permanent collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts among other collections. A year spent as a Research Fellow at the University of Fine Arts in Tokyo has deeply influenced her work and her continued international art practice finds her producing work in Paris and Edinburgh. You can find our more about June and her work at https://www.saatchiart.com/juneaugust. June and Rebecca were exhibitors at the Parallax Art Fair in 2018 where they met and recorded this interview. June’s work is on display at Parallax once again this February 16 & 17, Kensington Town Hall, London.
